Since 2021, Palo Alto has joined the global community of more than 4 thousand companies that are part of B Corporations, and that work to generate a positive impact, aiming to build an equitable, inclusive and regenerative economic model for people, the community and the planet.
As a related winery of Concha y Toro holding, and after an evaluation process that lasted more than two years, Palo Alto is certified as a B Corporation. Thereby, Palo Alto is recognized among the companies that meet the highest standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency and corporate responsibility.
Under this philosophy, the actions of care and conservation of the environment are fundamental. “Our soils are living substrates where not only our wines are born, but also home to native flora and fauna, and our commitment as Palo Alto is to preserve and care for them,” explains Andrés Vittori, Marketing Manager for Non-Endorsed Brands at Viña Concha y Toro.
Palo Alto today has 1,397 hectares of native sclerophyllous forest in the Maule Valley, and 546 of them are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified (FSC ® - C154029). This certification commits us to carry out a series of actions that seek to conserve, protect and regenerate this surface together with its flora and fauna.
