“Enjoy Wine, Give Water!” is the claim of the new campaign that Viña Palo Alto is promoting in social networks and points of sale in more than 35 countries. Through this initiative, the winery seeks to help different communities in Chile who have difficulty accessing drinking water, installing water towers and distributing millions of liters of this vital resource to thousands of families.
“Undoubtedly, access to drinkable water is one of the most important things in life and everyone should have it. Viña Palo Alto has identified many communities that do not have easy access to this resource, and we are determined to find a solution to this problem, by installing water towers. We have already distributed millions of liters, and we will continue delivering many more in different areas of the country,” said Martin Cuthbert, Marketing Assistant Manager of Quinta de Maipo, the wine group to which Palo Alto belongs.
This project adds to the winery’s efforts to promote sustainability, which begun a year ago with the campaign Bosque Palo Alto Patagonia, and that resulted in more than 10,000 trees planted to contribute to the reforestation and preservation of the Chilean Patagonia’s ecosystem.
These initiatives are concrete steps taken by Viña Palo Alto in its commitment to sustainability, hoping to make a contribution both in places where it carries out its production activities, as well as in the most remote areas of the country.
