On the sixth annual contest “Wines of Chile Awards”, which took place last week in Santiago and was organized by Wines of Chile, “Palo Alto Red 2007″ obtained one of the most important recognitions:
Palo Alto Red 2007 was awarded “Best Value Red Wine”, from a total 446 various competitors. It also obtained Gold Medal and scored 91 points.
The judge panel for this contest was integrated by renowned experts who came to Chile exclusively for this event: Kevin Zraly (founder of Windows on the World), Robert Bradshaw (Banyan Consulting Buyer), Sandy Block (Legal Sea Foods Restaurant President), Robin Kelly O’Connor (Sherry-Lehmann educator and director of sales), Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellars assistant editor), Michael Schachnner (Wine Enthusiast writer), David Rosengarten (Gastronomic critic and TV show host), Linda Murphy (Decanter and San Francisco Chronicle Collaborator) and Patrick Comiskey (Wine & Spirits and Los Angeles Times writer).
